Meet Shelby ~ Class of 2011

Shelby.Fun loving. Beautiful smile. No. Gorgeous! I loved spending a few hours with her to take her senior pictures. We hit a few of my favorite spots downtown that provide super backgrounds and mood for photographing. Shelby rocked her session with me. She was so easy to work with making my time taking pictures of her a dream. I have watched this young lady mature and she has blossomed into such a lovely soul. I have also witnessed her grow along with her cute equine love, Boo. Those two share a special bond which is so evident in their pictures.
Shelby, you are awesome in every way!

Meet Kirsti

One of my goals this year for my photography business was to venture into high school senior pictures. I adore working with this age as they are so fun and willing to try new creative ideas to bring out pictures they will love to share with friends and family for years to come. I see more and more professional photographers moving away from the posed studio type pictures and gearing towards creating images that are photo journalistic showcasing that young adult's personality. And I love this style!

I am so very fortunate to have Kirsti representing me this year for high school senior pictures. She is a junior with such an awesome outlook on life. Such a positive girl to be around and I believe these pictures I took of her show her confidence and fun personality. She has less than a month left as a junior and then one more year before she graduates and moves on to college. And then life really begins!

She absolutely rocked this photo session with me. When I asked for some sass she gave it. When I needed some seriousness she moved me. And let's not forget that killer smile! Lovely!
Thank you Kirsti for representing Amy Elisabeth Photography!

A Little Bit About Me....

DSC_1621 copy

I know there are a lot of people and friends who stop by my blog each day. That is true since I do check to see who is coming around thanks to statcounter.com. Yes, it is a great tool to find your audience and who is finding my blog and photography interesting.
If you are one of those who like to venture over here once in awhile, I have a bit to add about "Me". Short but sweet.

"What do your friends compliment you about?" Such a good question because it isn't very often a compliment is received. When was the last time you gave out a compliment? I know hearing it makes my day! I did just have a friend tell me how proud of me she is while we were talking about my photography. And that is always an awesome feeling! My daughter told me just the other day she likes my hair....right after I was whining about it. She is my best critic!

"What are you really, really good at?" If I had to narrow it down to one thing I would have to say organized and the person to count on for things to get done. But for fun I have a few recipes I make that bring rave reviews, can drive just about any tractor, and am good with navigating directions!

"What sets your business apart from the competition in a fun way?" I am so new to being in this photography business and I love what I am doing and oftentimes I feel so giddy because it has been so fun for me! If ever I lose those feelings I will have to sit down and re-group and find out how to be inspired, make goals and achieve them.

I hope to add a few random questions like these here and there so you, my audience, my clients and friends can learn more about me as a person and as a photographer.

Friends

blog2

If you're alone, I'll be your shadow. If you want to cry, I'll be your shoulder. If you want a hug, I'll be your pillow. If you need to be happy, I'll be your smile. But anytime you need a friend, I'll just be me. ~Author Unknown
